With a strong sense of responsibility and social contribution, Politis Group actively participated in the World Road Safety Week (May 12–18, 2025) by dedicating all of its DOOH Panels to promote messages of awareness and responsibility related to road safety. This initiative took place as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Road Safety Institute (RSI) “Panos Mylonas.”

The anniversary week started with a special event that took place on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Zappeion Hall in Athens, in the presence of government officials, representatives of public institutions, organizations, and schools, all united by a shared vision of safer roads.

As part of its long-standing commitment to social responsibility, Politis Group embraced the initiative of RSI by broadcasting the road safety message throughout Athens. This action contributed significantly to raising public awareness around the prevention of traffic accidents and the promotion of responsible road behavior.

The World Road Safety Week is an important opportunity for education and action aimed at protecting human life on the roads. Politis Group proudly stands in support of this cause and will continue to endorse initiatives that contribute to a safer future for all.

Politis Group, in collaboration with the Municipality of Elliniko – Argyroupoli and FG Europe, has made a significant contribution to local educational infrastructure by donating and installing modern 18,000 BTU air conditioning units at the 1st General High School of Elliniko.

This initiative is part of Politis Group’s corporate social responsibility strategy and reflects the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to improving the educational and living conditions of students and teachers in the area’s schools.

The Mayor of Elliniko – Argyroupoli, Mr. Ioannis Konstantatos, stated:
“We sincerely thank Politis Group for this valuable contribution. Through partnerships like this, we enhance the functionality of our school facilities and strive to offer our students a better, more comfortable, and safer environment.”

The donation of the air conditioning units is expected to provide significant relief during both summer and winter months, ensuring a pleasant and functional environment for students and teachers.

With a focus on enhancing pedestrian safety and improving everyday life, Politis Group has completed the donation and installation of three autonomous crosswalk systems in the center of Chalandri. The new systems were placed at key intersections — Eptanissou & Ioannou Apostolopoulou and Kolokotroni & Gyftopoulou — improving accessibility and upgrading the overall experience for both residents and visitors of the area.

These state-of-the-art systems feature illuminated pedestrian crossing signs with backlighting and energy-autonomous solar panels. These elements ensure maximum visibility, even during nighttime or in poorly lit areas, significantly reducing the risk of accidents and enhancing safety for both pedestrians and drivers. With these new crosswalks, Chalandri’s commercial center becomes more pedestrian-friendly and supportive of soft mobility.

This initiative is part of Politis Group’s broader strategy to promote sustainable transportation and urban development.

The choice of Chalandri, a vibrant area with high commercial activity and significant pedestrian traffic, was made with the aim of protecting pedestrians, especially children, the elderly, and individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring safer crossings at busy points in the city.

Politis Group extends its warm thanks to the Municipality of Chalandri for their collaboration and remains committed to supporting initiatives that improve quality of life across Attica’s neighborhoods, promoting safety, accessibility, and sustainable development.

Politis Group, in collaboration with the Municipality of Nea Filadelfeia, is pleased to announce its donation for the renovation of the volleyball court at the 2nd Primary School of Nea Filadelfeia, aiming to promote sports and physical education among students.

The donation covers the complete refurbishment of the court, including the installation of new posts, the replacement of the old net with a brand-new one, and the addition of new protective antennas. At the same time, the surrounding area will be assessed to ensure a safe and enjoyable sports environment for the students.

This initiative is part of Politis Group’s broader strategy to support and encourage student participation in sports.

Politis Group, in cooperation with the Municipality of Peristeri, has made a donation of 3.000€ to excellent students – citizens of Peristeri, who are attending universities in the province.Three students received 1.000€ each, in recognition and reward of their academic achievements.
