Politis Group represented Greece at the WOO Global Congress in Toronto, Canada

Politis Group, as a regular member of the World Out Of Home Organization (WOO), the global association of outdoor advertising companies, participated in the major annual WOO Global Congress held in Toronto, Canada from May 25th to 27th.

This internationally prestigious congress, which was held exclusively with physical presence, was attended by more than 400 delegates coming from 5 continents and the impressive technological developments and very high prospects of the outdoor advertising (OOH) industry were discussed.

Among the conclusions of the conference was that we are rapidly entering the “new Golden Age” of outdoor advertising and that both the development and geographic expansion of digital billboards and the provision of reliable metrics based on industry best practices are crucial to highlight the value of the medium.

Indication of the mobility observed in the industry to share best practices and coordinate on the creative challenges presented is the visit of the President of the World Out Of Home Organization (WOO), Mr. Tom Goddard, to the Politis Group headquarters in Greece.

In his meeting with Politis Group CEO, Mr. Haris Politis, the WOO President had the opportunity to learn about the important developments in OOH in Greece and shared his expectations for global developments in the industry, that has been at the center of advertising attention with the transition to the digital era.

Politis Group, we note that apart from holding a leading position in the Greek market, it also has a growing presence in Cyprus and is already implementing a digital transformation program for its operations through partnerships with the world’s largest suppliers of specialized software systems and automation in outdoor.
